Wada Garou Tokyo is pleased to present a solo exhibition Weaving Ripples Yuko Honda Feng Shui Art™ DESTIKNIT® starting on October 3rd. This exhibition will be held at two venues, the 3rd floor of Wada Garou Tokyo and Lab. that two doors away from gallery.
The artist has skillfully applied the ancient Chinese philosophy of feng shui to artistic expression and developed Feng Shui art. The works she creates range from energetic, full of vitality and hope, to gentle and delicate, and they work on the viewer's subconscious. We hope you will enjoy her creations that transcend the boundaries of three-dimensional art.

ARTIST STATEMENT
What is the secret to making your dreams and goals come true one after another? It is to work directly on the subconscious mind, not the manifest mind. Because 90% of human behavior is influenced by the subconscious mind, not the manifest mind. By directly influencing your subconscious, you can naturally make your dreams and goals come true successively. However, our living and office environments are not created with the influence of our subconscious mind. Most of our inviroments, rooms, window frames, and building shapes are based on straight lines. Moreover, the furniture and interior decoration is also mainly straight lines, but this is actually very detrimental. The reason is that too many straight lines can unintentionally create tension, causing the chi to move too quickly, making it difficult for the chi to settle down and stay still. Conversely, once we have created environments well, we can use the effects from the environment to encourage our dreams and goals.
What can we accomplish this? The answer is to incorporate a variety of elements into the room, such as curves, materials, textures, tactile sensations, and colors. This will directly affect your subconscious mind and create the feeling of "I feel comfortable," "I want to stay longer," "I can concentrate," and " inspiration comes to me in spurts. Feng Shui Art™ DESTIKNIT®" is a higher-level combination of these elements sublimated into art. Feng Shui Art is not a stand-alone art. The Feng Shui art is not a stand-alone art, because as your dreams and goals become reality, they will have a more positive impact on your family, friends, and acquaintances, as well as on your business associates, customers, and the people you connect with through them. The propagation of value that occurs one after another beyond the boundaries of a square three-dimensional artwork. To be a part of that is what Feng Shui Art aims for. Yuko Honda
Created "Feng Shui Art™" by combining the ancient oriental wisdom of "Feng Shui" with the modern scientific wisdom of "Brain Science" and "Psychology" and applying and sublimating it to art. Yuko Honda's unique method of designing materials, three-dimensionality, curves, and colors, and completing the work with artistic expression, takes into consideration how the information taken unconsciously from the work affects the ch'i of the space, the emotions, thoughts, body, and actions of the person. Her works are called "art that changes destiny" because when she incorporates them into her daily life, her life changes for the better. Her works using wool yarns are called DESTIKNIT® (destiny-changing knit), and they range from energetic works full of vitality and hope to gentle and delicate ones, and are currently receiving much praise and acceptance.
